The more oxygen we have in our system, the more energy we produce. Today, this is more important than ever before because of a general deficiency of oxygen intake. Insufficient oxygen means insufficient biological energy that can result in anything from mild fatigue to life-threatening disease. The link between insufficient oxygen and disease has been firmly established. Deep breathing is an excellent way to increase oxygen uptake. The next time you are taking your daily walk, try deep breathing in on the count of 6, hold for the count of 6, then exhale on the count of 6. Repete for the entire walk. You will notice the difference.
