This is the response I got from Welchs:Thank you for contacting Welch's.The Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) used in Welch’s 100% Grape Juice is added in the form of dry crystals manufactured by a biological fermentation process using corn sugars as raw materials.There are no starches, sugars or additives in Welch’s 100% Grape Juice.- Danny Kovacs
