hi all - well I have heard such good feedback on seratonin helping gut

issues and was still scared by the anti-depressant thing so of course i

like naturals and my compounding pharmacist said why not try this first

so I am (he did say prozac next not lexapro - easier to wean off)-

hoping and praying this helps- will update all - maybe others can

benefit - endoscopy/colonoscopy tues a.m. too will update on that too

thanks eileen

I think I would really benefit from Tryptophan or 5HTP. What does it mean to have this compounded by the pharmacist? Does this require a prescription? I found a brand of 5htp but it had maltodextrin and a few other substances and it made me so sick to take it. I do have lots of trouble sleeping at night and have issues with depression sometimes. I would like to use 5HTP and thought maybe another brand without all the extras would be my next step. Would you all agree? Thanks for any guidance.

Blessings,

Betty

i'm new to this so maybe others are better but the compounding pharm.

i'm sure can make it and said it can cause belly problems -upset tummy -

that why he said L-tyrptophan first - sold right there on the shelf

and legal - but check - this is thorne brand
