Guest guest
Hi , It looks fine to me as long as you use drippings from your own homemade yogurt. How you'll handle it is another question altogether. I'd start off with a small amount, see how you react and go from there. Best wishes, Kim H. husband, , CD 1999 SCD 2002 Beet kvass Marilyn & Kim,Re: scd with gastroparesis - I recently declined my doctor's rx of Reglan because 1. he said Reglan increases my risk of rupturing intestinal adhesions and 2. because Reglan has a high rate of psychotic effects on people. So my problem is finding an alternative to Reglan to make my tummy empty. I read an excellent article by a GI who actually overlapped the scd on several points, and who suggested that an alternative to Reglan would be beet kvass. Would you check out this recipe and see it it would be legal?http://www.feelgood eats.com/ anytime-recipes/ beet-kvass. htmlThe doctor in the article said we need the fermented foods and beverages to help digest our food - something I think Elaine would wholeheartedly agree with. Thanks, scd since 1/07GP, Celiac, Candida, Adhesions
Guest guest
Wow , Thank you for this- a specialist I just saw was talking Reglan over with me. My goodness.. Meds are good but for me they aren't good in the long term/lifestyle dept. Just on an ER basis. I am just way to sensitive!
