Guest guest
Hi Everyone! I was wondering if anyone has experienced this. I made homemade yogurt on Mon. After I simmered the milk, the solid and liquid (I guess it's called whey, but I'm not entirely sure) were separated. I thought that was strange, but proceeded in making the yogurt anyway. I put it in the electric yog. maker and cooled it, and today when I looked at it, it was still separated, but the solids were harder. Also, I checked the temp of the water in the machine yesterday and it was 117. I know that is hotter than desired. I still have pain all the time in my stomach and don't want to risk anything. Do you guys think I should toss the " yogurt? " Or would there be any bacteria alive in it anyway? Thanks for your time and help!
