Re: scd with gastroparesis - I recently declined my doctor's rx of

Reglan because 1. he said Reglan increases my risk of rupturing

intestinal adhesions and 2. because Reglan has a high rate of

psychotic effects on people. So my problem is finding an alternative

to Reglan to make my tummy empty.

I read an excellent article by a GI who actually overlapped the scd

on several points, and who suggested that an alternative to Reglan

would be beet kvass. Would you check out this recipe and see it it

would be legal?

The doctor in the article said we need the fermented foods and

beverages to help digest our food - something I think Elaine would

wholeheartedly agree with.
