First post & die-off question

Hello, I am a Lyme Disease patient who has been doing SCD to heal my

gut issues and gluten intolerance (no idea if they were caused by Lyme

itself or the 9 months of heavy antibiotics). I have been

on it for 2 months now and I really feel it is doing a lot for me. The

1st 7 days on the diet were brutal -it caused me to herx (have a

bacterial die-off reaction) so bad, I thought I was dying! It

surprised me how powerful SCD can be.

I also had other weird " die-off " effects that I have never experienced

with any other Lyme treatments (antibiotics, salt/vit c, herbs):

-my vaginal discharge turned bright yellow and foul-smelling for

several days. Could this have been yeast?

-on days 9 and 10 I pooped out 2 long (15-20cm) greyish-white stringy

things. I have NO idea if they were worms, parasites, yeast or

what!!!!! I was told they could even be part of my damaged intestinal

lining... I guess I should have tried to save them for testing but I

couldn't bring myself to fish them out of the toilet.

I was just wondering if anyone else had strange die-off experiences

when they started the SCD.

May I asked how you contracted the lyme desease? Because that's what I feel triggered my son's UC but noone will listen to me.The poop issue sounds like mucus to me. About the weird poop - I believe that was "mucoid plaque" and it happens a lot when people detox one way or another. It's plaque buildup in your intestine (similar to plaque in your mouth), basically excrement that never gets expelled. My friend did a detox program this summer, a series of herbs and things, and he also had this happen, which is a good sign. It means that your body is getting rid of a nasty buildup and you're definitely cleaner.
