Guest guest
I bought a pasture raised chicken yesterday from the GreenMarket. Upon cleaning and cutting it this morning- I saw like a yellow grainy substance with what looked like parsley or something green and leafy inside the chicken- it was in the skin flap of the butt so I did not see it in the bag when I bought it and I hadn't even consider asking about if they marinate or like add spices or something. I called and left a message from the number on the bag (I buy their beef and it is really delicious it is grass fed and grass finished as well as hormone and antibiotic free- Their meat really works well for me) Do you think this is safe for me to eat? I was planning on brining it today and cooking it tomorrow. Could this substance be associated with the feed or something?
