Guest guest
Hi Ann, Crohn's can actually affect any part of the digestive system from mouth to anus. It is more commonly found in the intestines but is not confined to that area like UC is confined to the colon. Maybe there is something that leads him to believe that he needs to take a look at your stomach. Best wishes, Kim H. husband, , CD 1999 SCD 2002 I'm scheduled for a gastroscope on Thursday and I'm tempted to cancel it because I don't understand why the doctor needs to see my stomach when I have Crohn's. Can someone explain the reason for this? Thanks,AnnSCD 3 months
