Guest guest
Along these lines, I remember Joanna giving us a heads up on the Dole Pineapple Juice in the can. She noticed that some cans now say “From Concentrate” and there were additional ingredients, with the carb and sugar content a lot higher. Unless I missed the updated posting, Joanna said she was going to contact Dole with a follow-up on this issue. When I looked in my fridge I had two packs of Dole juice—one that said “Not from concentrate” and the other pack said “From concentrate.” This actually pushed me to get an Omega juicer. Donna SCD 7 months From Ellen: " Elaine cleared some processed foods when she wrote her book, but who's to say that those formulations haven't changed since then? " From Joanna: I regularly purchase and drink Dole Pineapple juice in the can which has always been sugar-free. I purchased several cans today and when I opened one of them this afternoon I noticed the can now says " from concentrate " . It has always said " not from concentrate " in the past. I also noticed there were additional concentrated ingredients listed and the carb and sugar count on the nutritional info panel were higher as well. Needless to say, I did not drink it. I also plan to call Dole Monday morning to inquire about this new labeling and the change in their product. Do they even still make the sugar-free version?
