I made my 1st batch of yogurt w/organic raw goat milk yesterday -

seems to have turned out well. A question - does the length of time

you incubate the yogurt have anything to do w/how thick & tart it

comes out ? I keep my home fairly cool in the non-summer months. I

incubated the milk for about 26 hrs. & 15 minutes.

Thanks,

goat milk always makes runny yogurt - more like yogurtdrink than the yogurt we are used to. If you want thickeryogurt, you have to either let it drip or use either regularmilk or half and half or cream in the mix.I often do a 2:1 mix, goat milk to half and half or regularmilk.Mara more time usually= more tart. adam Resca wrote: I made my 1st batch of yogurt w/organic raw goat milk yesterday - seems to have turned out well.
