RE: Valentine's mix

Oh this sounds fun. Help me more though.

Are Rice Crunch’ems like Rice Krispies? When you’re putting the

chocolated cereal into the bag is it all one clump? So then you spread it like

Rice Krispie squares? I’m very visual. If I can’t see it in my

brain, I can’t cook it!

9 cups Rice Crunch'ems

1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips

1/4 cup margarine or butter*

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1 package (8-serving size) strawberry-flavored

gelatin

Measure cereal into large bowl; set aside.

Microwave chocolate chips

and margarine in 1-quart microwavable bowl

uncovered on High 1 minute;

stir.

Microwave 30 seconds longer or until mixture can

be stirred smooth.

Stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal in bowl,

stirring until evenly

coated. Mix powdered sugar and gelatin in

large plastic food-storage

bag; add cereal mixture. Seal bag; shake

until well coated. Spread

on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight

container. 12 cups snack.

Laurie this is like a chex mix. you spread on a parchment lined

paper let cool and then break apart. hope that helps

Thanks. I did find that cereal at Shaw’s

today.

Will I find them at Whole Foods?? I don't think I've come

across

them!

We didn't find the boxes of Choco Dyno Bites at WalMart. I'll

keep my eye out for them at " regular " grocery stores in the

future! Made more squares out of Fruity things. It's just OK.

But the kids like them fine.
