Guest guest
> > About the enzyme thing,I sell supplements for a living and I am not... > Perhaps you'll explain what the difference is between enzymatic.com and > enzymatic.com. Mara and list, I don't know if links are allowed on this list, so I may get edited, if so I will E-Mail this to Mara direct, but here goes. It may be that our fonts look different and that is leading to confusion. I was unsure what I was reading, but wanted to clarify, for myself as well. The post I replied to referred to enzymatic.com. http://enzymatic.com/ I think this domain was sold at one point to the people who run the site now (the one I'm afraid to use) , like the longisland list serve domain was sold in September. I think the site that held that domain prior to that, was a site for a company actually named Enzymatic Therapy. Their site can now be found at http://www.enzymatictherapy.com/ who in the meantime held a site under the name Enzy.com, which was the way I referred to it in my reply,as a reputable company whose products I have used with success many times (not necessarily when following SCD though). They make fine enzyme products, but I'm not sure if any are SCD compliant. The other site I made reference to is a site for a company named Enzymedica. Their only products are enzymes, and they are good at it,so to speak. As a Crohnie who controls my illness with diet and supplements, I prefer their products. This is the link to their site: http://www.enzymedica.com/ I am unsure which products are are SCD compliant, I have expanded on my original strict SCDiet in the past, and may have used these during that time. Sometimes product ingredients change too. So, always do your homework. Both of these company's are well established, and have physical addresses on file with the government agencies that regulate food/supplement products. Basically, this means the ingredients are GRAS or Generally Regarded As Safe by the FDA. The site operators who have bought the domain name enzymatic (the first link above), may very well be legit, but I can't tell who they are, and as I said they appear to be selling ads to people who place links there to sell various products, and that's fine, if the intent is not to capitalize on Enzymatic Therapy's reputation, and they monitor them to make sure none of the links lead to hackers or other unethical parties. This would be like me buying the longisland list serve domain, then using it to sell products or diet books associated with IBD'S, with the intent of misleading people into thinking I was associated with the list serve.
