The ingredients don't worry me as much as the caution that Boniva may

cause serious stomach and esophagus problems. The possible side-

effects to the mouth and digestive tract aren't reassuring.

But if your friend has already been on it for a while, then she should

stay on it until she's talked with her doctor and discussed

alternatives.

The inactive ingredients which you listed are probably in small

amounts, but could do some long-term damage. If it were me, being on

SCD, I'd ask about alternatives or whether I can get it compounded to

avoid the inactive ingredients.
