Guest guest
My boyfriend has had success with this diet but he's lost too much weight. He's 6'1 " and dropped from 180 to 165. He feels good but is way too skinny. Any recommendations on easy ways to get more calories into him? Is there an oil or protein powder he can add to yogurt shakes? Guest guest
Hello, This comes up pretty often so you may want to search the archives for more suggestions but, without knowing what he tolerates, here are a few: - put butter on everything you can - add coconut oil to everything you can (a good source for coconut oil is http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/) - you can add avocado and/or coconut oil to his yogurt shakes - make the yogurt from half & half or full cream (be sure to check the label for additives such as carrageenan, gums, emulsifiers, sweeteners, etc.) - here is a smoothie recipe http://scddiet.wordpress.com/2008/01/17/scd-heaven/ one member used to help her husband gain weight Hope this helps.
