Guest guest
Note: I posted this on the pecanbread group as well, but need a quickie answer. I just soaked a whole bunch of lentils and only need 1 cup in the recipe I am using. Can I keep the lentils and use them again for something else? Will they get moldy or anything? Many thanks, SCD since 9/9/08 leaky gut/70 food intolerances
Guest guest
Why not cook them all and then freeze some of them. > Note: I posted this on the pecanbread group as well, but need a quickie > answer. > > I just soaked a whole bunch of lentils and only need 1 cup in the > recipe I am using. Pry the globs off and bag them in the freezer. Then you can just pry a couple glops out when you need them the next time -- presto, pre-soaked lentils! — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
