I was on 8 pills and then I went on shots because they increased

mine to much i was on the max they could give i am not sure how much

that was but I never had a problem with it It just quit working so

they put me on plaqunil and imuran and remicade they are working for

Seven tablets is a lot for your body to take. I was on 8 and took 4

on a Friday night and 4 on Saturday morning. I then took Leucovorin

Saturday night and that worked well for me. Talk to you doctor or

pharmacist about this. I didn't feel sick when I did it this way.

I've found that drinking LOTS of water for the first 24 hours after taking the

pills helps. (It means I have to get up and go to the bathroom several times

during the night, and everytime I go I drink another pint of water. It helps to

flush the MTX out of your system after it does its thing.)

Sharon I take my MTX on Wednesday nights (my "yucky" medicine night) and go immediately to bed. By morning, most of the effects are gone. I drink extra water on Wednesdays and Thursdays just in case.
