Guest guest
After brushing my teeth at night, I brush again lightly with a mixture of bicarbonate of soda and salt. This mixture prevents discoloration of the teeth and helps in keeping teeth and gums healthy. It has helped me. Well I visited the dentist and after much discussion he arranged an appointment with his dental hygenist to see what she could clean/polish off! Well it took some polishing but I have not white but certainly not grey or black teeth. So all we can think of is that the anitbiotics caused a different reaction within the body that changed the saliva and hence the staining of the teeth. I will be keeping a close eye on them now and will let yu know if it happens again. ra Jan 97 ap May 98 Townsville Australia jamulder@... http://www.ultra.net.au/~jamulder/
Guest guest
There is a new whitening tooth gel out, non-abrasive, with no food coloring, etc. The gel is clear and uses our old friend, Hydrogen Peroxide. It works quite well, is not overwhelming in taste. Comes in a white & pink tube. My teeth were turning dark brown within one week after cleaning, now they have come right along back to where they should be. Guest guest
I was on very high dose IV antibiotics for 10mons and had the teeth staining problem--the good news in my experience is it goes away!! I started Clindy IV 5 days--started staining again, but at least now I know it is temporary.
