Guest guest
YES YES I had big mold exposures at my job, they " renovated " I went back in working long long hours and couldnt talk without chest pain and dizziness. Started prednisone. Got MCS about 2 - 3 weeks after that! Have it still, and this was exactly a year ago. [] Steroids > Hi , My six year old son has asthma > from our then moldy house. Last year > we were on advair and singulair and quit both in the end of November > after starting sporanox in October. Fletch -- Fletch -- I was taking a nasal steroid spray for the allergic reaction I was getting in the mold castle. I keep talking to people who got mycotoxic or have MCS (or commonly, both), and they all have had some steroid involvement. I just met an MCS victim who was being treated for mold toxicity, who was non-MCS. The day after she was treated with Prednisone, she woke up with MCS. Hellish. MoldWarriors makes a lot of reference to steroids causing immune dysregulation -- you should get your son out of the house and off those things. Guest guest
NO, NO, NO steroids - ever. Only in extreme emergencies. Those things suppress the immune system (that's what they are supposed to do.) You won't have a chance in hell of recovering from much of anything on those things. Steroids is like a chainsaw helping a pit-bull tear off your leg. (nice visual, eh?) Angelika [] Re: Steroids > I just met an MCS victim who was being treated > > for mold toxicity, who was non-MCS.
