Guest guest
So, this got me thinking as Eileen prompted with legal/illegal questions for McCormack's ground Nutmeg and canned pumpkin. I wanted to point something out that all of us dread but in fact is the essence of what I think Elaine was trying to teach us. Often times I find if something doesn't agree with me I recheck the source of what I bought.. I try to then buy it the next time " as close to the source of mother nature as possible " Often times we will learn the even if something is " legal " like a pre-ground nutmeg it still might not work for us and in that case it is best to go old school and grate our own. Not that I am saying -everyone- has to make the switch but sometimes the tweaks can really help pinpointing what the source is. I have found tweaking normal things even further and trying to buy, organic, local, biodynamic and grass fed has made such a huge difference for me. Marilyn, always says " make our own.. make our own " and I think this can be simplified that with SCD there really are -no- shortcuts. A coffee grinder is a great way to grind spices too!
