I am a Crohnie who has used Carlson Vit. E suppositories for sharp pains in/around my anus (inserted at night) . I feel these help my symptoms above and beyond that symptom (mostly cramping below the waistline), but wondered if part of the mechanism was the coconut oil they also contain. I do know they are harmless, and help with the sharp pains and itching, so I get some sleep. Possibly the rest was not my imagination!
