It's true of a lot of us. I also read one study several years ago that suggested that UC in women in some cases went into remission with menopause. It seems very likely, however, that in some way, not yet known, hormones cause the bacteria levels and their level of aggression, so to speak, to fluctuate. > My ct scan, upper gi, and two > colonoscopies showed nothing except extreme inflamation in my colon. \ Which part of the colon? All of it or only part? Mara

Peanuts are legumes, not fungi. They are definitely able to have aflatoxins in storage. Corn is not SCD legal. Guest guest
Which part of the colon? All of it or only part? Mara The majority of it except for the exit area was extremely ulcerated with last colonoscopy the end of August. I was having about 30 bms then but not even passing anything other than bloody water. I had a few remicade treatments and everything went away. Less than two weeks after the last treatment I got my friend and started bleeding again. Mostly went away over the next week but then got it two weeks after the first one. Probably because I hadn't had it for several months when I was so ill. That was over two weeks ago, still having some bleeding and dreading the next cycle coming up. I've stopped remi and started ldn a few weeks ago and have seen some improvements since that time. Still some blood and occasional D. I'm hoping ldn puts me into remission but also working on hormone issues. I'm sure I have high estrogen and that could be setting things off. Guest guest
I took a blood test to differntiate UC from CD. It was a special test that went to a special lab in CA. It may help you with your diagnosis.
