Guest guest
Banana pancakes with cooked apples are my fave breakfast. To start: Apple Topping Peel and slice 1 apple into very thin slices. Put the apple with cinnamon (to taste) and about 2 TBS honey into a non stick sauce pan on medium heat and cover. When it starts bubbling, turn it down to low. Stir frequently. Banana Pancake 1 ripe banana 1 egg cinnamon and vanilla to taste 1-2 TBS coconut flour (if you can tolerate it) i didn't use the flour until after several months. it is easily omitted. Mash banana with a fork in a large bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and process with a hand mixer until smooth (you can definately just leave it lumpy; i just like the smooth texture better). Heat a non stick skillet over medium heat and add butter. Pour the pancake batter in the skillet in 3 or 4 pancakes. It will take a while to set. Once set, flip and cook until done. Take the pancakes out of the skillet and pour the apples over the top. It is the yummiest breakfast EVER. Tastes like something you'd get in a restaraunt. misty kimble cd - no meds scd - 10 months

Guest guest
Hey, how about eggs? (JUST KIDDING!) But my daughter does LOVE her bacon in the morning. We found Gwaltney brand that is legal (the one that says 40% less fat. It also specifically says no sugar on the front of the package. It is in green packaging. I believe Walmart carries it and we get it at Giant market. Kathy - daughter w/UC SCD since July and doing great! > > HI misty, > Re. your banana pancakes--do you think it wuold be goodwith almond flour instead of coconut flour? > Esther > scd 3months > Re:Breakfast options > > > Banana pancakes with cooked apples are my fave breakfast. > > To start: > Apple Topping > Peel and slice 1 apple into very thin slices.
