Hi Eileen, Since today is election day, I think everyone's at the polls. For lack of a more educated answer, I vote for the one you've missed the most!

I like that way of thinking - never think of enjoying anymore just

healing :-) and what's allowed

thanks

Hey Eileen,

We're all so different. I would hold off on mushrooms as they feed

Candida and can cause oodles of gas. Although I am sure plenty will

disagree with me on that one!

Also, tomatoes can mean a lot of work like deseeding and peeling- but

I really shouldn't complain about that as it would be lovely to throw

some sauce in with ground meat and make a meatloaf type of thing or

sauce on fish. So thinking out loud- is it worth all the work?

I think Asparagus well steamed could be the easiest and fastest.

That's how I usually decide. Well my first step is to kind of

meditate and marinate on the notion and like run with it LOL..

As always go slowly. Baden taught me; Like one bite like a teaspoon

day one. No problems day two take 2 bites or like a tablespoon. If

you have issues stop and try in like 4-5 days if not increase 3rd day

to a couple of more bites. This has really worked for me. Takes a

lot of patience and mental stamina. I am not the most patient person

but I know you are much better at it then me. I just will like gulp

something and stuff my face. Totally pathetic will power on that

level. Then I suffer and suffer again and I beat myself up that I

don't learn. Anyway, it's getting better on my end.

Good Luck,

thanks jodi - i know it's hard not to jump in but I'm the opposite -

I'm almost frozen in time and can't add anything out of fear!!!

Glad you're doing better - I am too!!! YEAH!!! don't know if it's

the glutamine or L-tyrpophan but who cares!! I do have a bit of

dizziness still and some heart palpitations ????? can i just feel

good from head/toe ??????? apparently not - LOL!

I wasn't going to go there with real tomatoes- no time - just cook up

the juice

I did grill asparagus last night and then got scared and re-read the

list and saw peeled - so I peeled each piece -nightmare -and ate 3-4

little pieces -i'm ok today minus one or two little quick pains -but

don't want it again if i have to peel -looks like tomato will be next

(after cinnamon nutmeg and pumpkin to make sure i can make and eat

that " pumpkin pie filling for turkey day!!! yum

take care

thanks eileen

I Have never heard of peeling Asparagus.

I know that cooking wise were supposed to break off the ends of the

veg and some people peel the ends just a tad as it is a bit coarse

comparing to the rest of the vegetable.

Maybe Marilyn can answer this one for us?

Marilyn, how should we prepare Asparagus?

Do we need to peel it?

I have peeled asparagus for a few years now and it is wonderful!! The

strings used to be just too much for me, but now that I peel them, I

can enjoy asparagus again. I highly recommend you try it!

Hi Lorraine B,

I don't mean to sound stupid but could you explain to me just how much

of the asparagus you peel? I mean what about the head?

Thanks,
