If it isn't tangy, you didn't get the lactose out, hence, while it may be just fine for non-SCDers, it's probably not safe for you. I don't know how hot it was during the night, when I went to bed it was at a nice even 104 F but when I got up the termometer said 118 F. I took the pot away from the heating pad (in a box and under a blanket) and put the termometer into the yogurt - then it was 114 F. I am guessing that was as hot as it got.
