Guest guest
I see we have a number of new people on the list, and I'd like to welcome you all individually, but Real Life seems to have grabbed me and given a good shake. <wry grin> I was diagnosed with complex sleep apnea, and am now adjusting to sleeping with a mask connected to a CPAP machine. You can look at my mask here: http://www.cpap.com/viewImage.php?PNum=2106 & Image=Comfort-Lite-2-CPAP-Mask-Side-View-Pillows.jpg or http://tinyurl.com/6pkmjn It's interesting. And the thing which has astounded me is that the pain management doctor said that when I was sleeping properly, the hip pain which has plagued me for over six years would be minimized. And she was right. I can't tell you all how amazing it feels to NOT be awakened 2-3 times in the night to take anti-inflammatories so you can stop hurting, but to instead be able to sleep through the night. I can't say I like my mask, 'cause it's a royal pain to get on and off with long hair if I have to get up to go to the bathroom. But pain free... wow. We've all been there with the amazement of what SCD can do for us. This is similar. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
