Guest guest
awwwwww, Kirstie, thats soooo sweet of your DH! Mine is thoughtful like that too; over the wknd were 2 anniversary celebrations for his parents and i'm always delegated to make the desserts...over the wknd i made 8 desserts (apple pie, choclate cream puffs, cheery cheese cake, choclate cream pie, cookies, etc....), while i was out shopping he found a recipe for a low carb cheesecake i'd gotten off the list sometime ago, and until we got to our destination, i didn't know that he'd made it....soooo SWEET, heck it almost made me cry! lol {{{{{{{{{{{Kirstie}}}}}}}}}}} hope you're feeling better....you've done so much to encourage and lift up others, your helpful advice and your knowledge about this WOE has helped me tremendously....so put that dream (nightmare) outta your head girlfriend; on a scale of 1-10, you're a 10 in my book! : ) Keep on keeping on Kirstie!! : ) Sherry
Guest guest
Other than eating high carb stuff in front of me for the last 6 months?... nahhh... he's just really supportive of me with both my weight loss efforts and school - he works hard at trying to keep me as unstressed as possible. This weekend he built me a big raised flower bed in the shape of a 3 foot wide " L " (11' x 8' on the outside, 8' x 5' on the inside) with trellisses on the inside edges for my sweetpeas. It took him 8 hours of digging, mixing and pouring concrete, sawing, drilling, bolting, hammering - he did it mostly on his own so that I could keep studying - I just had to come out every now and then to hold something steady for him. We just had our 4 year anniversary last week - he's probably still feeling all mushy from the table saw he got ;-) Kirstie > > That is just too sweet! (He didn't do something wrong did > he?) Guest guest
Your husband is going to help fix your meals, or completely fix them? Well, so much for feeling sorry for poor overworked Kirstie! ;-) Count your blessings, not your pounds! Jean 190/144/135 12/7/98 I am not a number. I am a beautiful human being. I just have a sweet tooth the size of Cleveland. -- Equal ad
Guest guest
Kirstie, it's good to hear from you again. It seems like you haven't been as active, I know it is getting close to finals. Good luck making up the menu! What a sweetie he is.
