Guest guest
Mike asks, " Who cares what Europeans think of our president? Since when did their opinion have anything to do with our country? " Our country does not exist independently of other countries. What happens in other places has everything to do with our country, and what happens in our country has everything to do with other places. The USA does not exist in a vacuum. What Europeans think of our president affects their actions and decisions. Directly or indirectly, those actions and decisions affect us. IMHO it is a mistake to think only of our own special interests and not pay attention to the state of the world as a whole. www.worldgame.org I read an account about this by a man who took part in playing the game. This game demonstrates the ways in which the different parts of the world affect each other, and the ways in which certain actions (especially poorly thought-out short-term actions) harm the rest of the world, while other more cooperative and carefully thought-out actions enhance the well-being of everyone.
