Guest guest
For years I have made a moist, custard-like cake in a bundt pan using a fabulous SCD recipe. I use squash rather than pumpkin, but I canNOT find the recipe! Could someone PLEASE email it to me if they have it? I think I got it on an email list years ago and can't find it online anywhere. TIA! Mel
Guest guest
I found something very close--the Autumn cake recipe at www.pecanbread.com. I baked it at 300 for 65 minutes in a silicone bundt pan. Do not add nuts fruit or the alternate spices. This cake is divine with whipped French cream. Made it for non SCDers and they all wanted the recipe. The only thing was the cake was much smaller than my previous recipe. I would probably increase everything by 50% next time. I like this much more than pumpkin pie. It tastes like pumpkin pie in a custardy cake. Hope someone else can enjoy it this Thanksgiving. Thanks again Gay for trying to find the old recipe! http://wonderwomen.typepad.com For years I have made a moist, custard-like cake in a bundt pan using a fabulous SCD recipe.
