Guest guest
I hope you all won't mind me interjecting some questions into this thread. Val, your comment that ERFA was higher in T3 is, I believe, dead on. For lack of anything else to take, I have been on the ERFA now, 1 and 1/4 grain for about a month. (I am the pt that talked with you around your birthday, Lyme, high hemoglobin/hematocrit). My last ferritin (November) was 24. I am having some anxiety with the same ERFA dose that did NOT provoke anxiety on the same dose of Nature-throid; esp situational social anxiety. Would this be improved (and are there others that have had this experience) with a higher ferritin level? My last RT3 was 210 and total T3 was was 130 (frees did not get run because Labcorps ran the wrong thing/antiquated parameters). I will be having frees, Reverse T3 run in the next couple of days. I HAVE had improvement in all other areas on the ERFA...mood, energy level, sleep, am able to finally lose a little weight..the only other " hyper " symptoms besides the anxiety are a little head/hand tremor and intermittent rapid resting heart rate (96..my usual is 66). And again, can you give me any guidance as to how to get ferritin up w/o affecting H/H? Is there still a NTH ferritin group? Thx, Angie > > > > Well if oy udidn;t stop the iron, you on;'t have that high a level. Guest guest
I have not heard of a Ferritin group associate wiht NTH. And unfortunately I do nto knwo THAT much abiut it. But yes those symotms should improve wiht better ferritin levels and less RT3 if it continues ot go down adn your ratio of T3/RT3 gets better. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
The ferritin group may have been on the about.com site..I could be mistaken..what, in your opinion is the best iron supplement? I have Ironsorb by Jarrow..I've heard good things about the " whole foods " (name of manufacturer escapes me right now) iron supplement. > > I have not heard of a Ferritin group associate wiht NTH.
