Guest guest
Her RT3 is horrible and her Ferritin is dropping, causing more RT3. She needs ot get rid of ANYTHING wiht T4 in it and take IRON. She is having problems wiht the T4 meds as it worsens RT3 an d thus blocks T3 form the cells. As long as she is tkaing moe T4 and having low ferritin sh eis going to worsen. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Val...I don't what is happening but my posts were not going through when I tried to reply from my email so I have come to the actual website to post. My daughter's previous labs were on the original post but her new labwork from January 4th 2010 was NOT posted. She is taking B-12 and iron now and her levels are better. Her thyroid is wacky looking and her TPO is high?? I don't know too much about this. Can you please look over this previous lab from Aug.2009 and compare to these new Jan.2010 labs and let me know what you think. So sorry for the confusion. See below: She has changed meds and I will explain the changes below. August 19, 2009--She was taking 120 New Armour TSH 1.4 (0.450-4.50) FT3 3.4 (2.3-4.2) FT4 .079 (.61-1.79) RT3 274 (90-350) Ferritin 42 (10-291) B-12 233 (211-911) Jan. 4th, 2010--New Labs TSH 4.95 (0.450-4.50) FT3 3.1 (2.3-4.2) FT4 .86 (.61-1.79) RT3 260 (90-350) TPO ab 42 (0-34)** Ferritin 76 (10-291)taking iron since Aug. B-12 532 (211-911)taking B-12 since Aug. She is currently taking 37.5 Liothyronine with 45 Old Armour. **What is TPO and why would that be high? The Dr. wanted to put her on a combo of Liothyronine and Synthroid in August but she goes crazy with anxiety on Levoxyl or synthroid so I told her to just take the Liothyronine and continue with her Armour at a reduced dose. Between the two of us we had some Old armour. Why are her labs so weird now? Looks like she was better off on the Armour. I sure appreciate your thoughts on this one.
