Well, as most of you, I am not able to do a lot these days due to this condition I am in.I pretty much stay on my couch every day watching movies. This is not a real life!Hope thing will change on T3-only and HC after some time. However, tonight, I want to try to see if I can go to a small concert 20 minutes away fromwhere I live. I will be driving at 7 pm. The concert starts at 10 pm and ends at midnight. My question would be... How do I do this? Do I take 2.5 mg extra HC at some point or what?I usually take my last 2.5 mg dose of HC at 9-10 pm.It's really impossible to do normal things like going to concerts when you're sick like this. It's really taking a huge hit on my very soul. :(

I just wanted to throw some encouragement your way. I was exactly where you are

a year ago! No energy for ANYTHING. Movies, books, the Internet and my bed were

my life. But with the help of HC and T3-only I am back to my old self and am

able to lead a completely normal life!! I'm still careful with myself and will

be for the rest of time I'm sure (I'm too old for the party scene anyway...lol),

but just give it time and listen to Val - you'll get there!! And I'm saying this

on a day when I'm hypo due to running out of meds! :D That in itself is amazing

for me!

Much luck! And I hope you're able to enjoy the concert.

I never go anywhere without HC. I know I might need it one day. Once I left without it,and I got all shaky because of fear of being with it!so I'll do 10 mg HC instead of 6 mg HC when I leave at 7pm? I usually take my 5 mg doseof HC at 6-7 pm.Also, will taking an extra dose of 5 mg HC like that create more disturbances in theelectrolytes?Take an EXTRA 5mg before you leave and bring MORE with you. If oyu feel

shaky or any nausea, take more.

I always carry extra HC and thyroid on me. You never know. Like the time I had

to spend at the hospital up all night for a family emergency I chewed through

all I had on me.

It pays to carry an extra 20mg or so on you, in 5mg doses or 2.5mg doses. Just

in case you can't get home or you are out and something stressful arises.

I took my kid to a concert and brought extra HC, made sure to drink a lot of

water and ate a snack. I also took some b complex before I left.

Try to enjoy yourself!
