Guest guest
You rcaught the peak of that T3 dose oyu took. Havenm't you been reading? You should NEVER take T3 the am before a blood draw. Never. The ranges are not set for peak times of the day or they would be MUCH higher. By taking a blood sample after goign all night with no T3 added, you are getting the trough or LOW neumbers and this si what you need ot knwo. My LOW munber is 620 or the way your lab measures 6.2 I bet my peak is around 10! -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
>TSH 1.29 (0.5 - 3.6) >FT4 10.7 (9 - 20) >FT3 6.5 (3.5 - 7.8) - I took my morning dose of 5 mcg T3 about 2 hours before I did this sample. > >I increased to 20 mcg T3 last night and I feel a little.. Worried today! The heart feels.. >A bit ticklish! That FT3 says hypo as that's the peak and not the trough. The FT4 is going down nicely indicating that the RT3 production will be slowing now. Get the Ferritin up and then you can take enough T3 to reduce that TSH further, it needs to go under range, and that will shut down the FT4 levels further down hence reducing RT3 production. With that extra 5 spread from the others you are taking the peak levels in your body from that won't be higher than from the other doses you are taking Nick
Guest guest
I know, I know.. I just.. Sometimes I forget! So I'll do a new blood sample again tomorrow. But then my whole day will be skrewed with the T3, iron, etc. Can I take T3 with 3 hours apart dose 1 and dose 2?And do you think it could be possible that my FT3 is 16.0 back in January 2008 beforethe a-fib, was naturally ocurring with my 40 mcg of T3 (and 100 mcg of T4) _IN CASEI DID TAKE MY T4/T3-meds_ before the blood sample was made? To me that 16.0 justlooks very high. I took 20 mcg T3 in the morning and 20 in the evening back then.Subject: Re: Latest bloodworkTo: RT3_T3 Date: Tuesday, January 12, 2010, 2:57 PM You rcaught the peak of that T3 dose oyu took. Guest guest
Hmmm.. So you're saying that the FT3 I am seeing is false (Thanks Val - you also said it!)and I need higher Ferritin to make it real? I get it, I get it. I just feel a bit desperate! :)Considering the IV, but I also wanna see how it goes taking more iron tablets first.125 mg iron today. How many days recommended before you increase iron further? And are you guys sure a serum iron of 30 (range 5 - 35) is not dangerous in any way?Oh, I also wonder if my hemoglobin will further increase with all this iron - My hemoglobinis already over the top range at 17.8 (top range: <17.0)Nick, it does feel good to read that my rT3 should come down!T. >TSH 1.29 (0.5 - 3.6) >FT4 10.7 (9 - 20) >FT3 6.5 (3.5 - 7.8) - I took my morning dose of 5 mcg T3 about 2 hours before I did this sample. > >I increased to 20 mcg T3 last night and I feel a little..
