Val-need help with Daughter's labs

Hi Val,

I wanted to post my daughter's new labs and see if you can tell me what she

needs to do and why some of her levels are worse than her previous labs. She

did change meds and I will explain the changes below.

New Labs August 19, 2009

TSH 4.95 (0.450-4.50) TSH 1.4(same ranges as new labs)

FT3 3.1 (2.3-4.2) FT3 3.4

FT4 .86 (.61-1.79) FT4 .079

RT3 260 (90-350 RT3 274

TPO ab 42 (0-34)

Ferritin 76 (10-291)Fe now Ferritin 42

B-12 532 (211-911)B-12 now B-12 233

She is taking 37.5 Liothyronine She was taking 120 New Armour

with 45 Old Armour.

What is TPO and why would that be high?

The Dr. wanted to put her on a combo of Liothyronine and Levoxyl but she goes

crazy with anxiety on Levoxyl so I told her to just take the Liothyronine and

continue with her Armour just cut in half for now and see how she does. Between

the two of us we had some Old armour. Why are her labs so weird now? Looks

like she was better off on the Armour. I sure appreciate your thoughts on this

one.
