Your labs are looking good. Maybe a bit more T3 but if you FEEL OK and

wiht high pulse.. maybe not. For the high pulse, check electrloytes. Low

sodium can raise the pulse a LOT as can dehydration so make certain you

are drinking eenough. Are you on HC still? If so maybe time for a little

reduciton as when it goes too high it can sometimes raise the pulse too.

Hi Val,I am completely off HC and its been about a full week. I have also tapered down from 50 mcg of cytomel to 25. I actually feel really good, and none of my symptoms have returned. However, my pulse has not gone down at all, which makes me wonder if this is being caused by something other than too much thyroid? Its so weird because the 1st time on 50 mcg my pulse was 76. It is only since rt3 last yr that my pulse has been an issue. I will get electrolytes checked again, but last time they were fine. I can tell you when i drink 1tsp celtic sea salt my pulse drops 10 points an hour later- and then up again after that.Thoughts?Sent: Monday, January 11, 2010 7:22 PMTo: RT3_T3 Subject: Re: JG - Labs Your labs are looking good. Ok, so if my pulse drops from 120 to 110 then there is something to low sodium.

Last time I did blood work around this it came up normal. My doctor even let me try florinef for a bit and we didn't notice anything.

I am also doing salt in the morning and evening (1tsp) and other than it being low an hour after I take it, it shoots back up again.

So how do I fix this? (What do I tell my doctor?)

Thanks!

That your pulse responds with 10 point drop tells me it is low sodium causing this.-- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WVhttp://www.stopthet hyroidmadness. com/http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ NaturalThyroidHo rmonesADRENALS/http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ RT3_T3/http://groups. yahoo.com/ group/HypoPets/

You sip a little salt water all day. Many of us had to do tht while our

adrnals are weak, They can be weak enough for reduced aldosterone that

is just not quite low enough for Florinef. I was liek that! I was up to

abotu 3 teaspoons of salt a day and could not tolerate Florinef. My albs

for aldosterone can=me in at 14 wiht a range of 4-31. but when aldo is

low, you lose salt rapidly after ingesting it so sipping low am9unts all

day fices it and WILL reduce your pulse.
