Guest guest
Your BP med is known to cause poor T4 to T3 conversion and wil guarantee your Rt3 stays high as wil taking Iodine., As long as oyu are on a beta blocker for BP you will need ot be on T3 onyl to avoid htis issue. BUT It is very possible the high BP is from low thyroid and T3 may help correct it -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
>Toperol is a high Blood Pressure medicine. Lots of information on it here http://www.drugs.com/toprol.html and detail of side effects here http://www.drugs.com/sfx/metoprolol-side-effects.html From that >Metoprolol >Hypertension and Angina > >Most adverse effects have been mild and transient. > >Central Nervous System: Tiredness and dizziness have occurred in about 10 of 100 patients. Depression has been reported in about 5 of 100 patients. Mental confusion and short-term memory loss have been reported. Headache, nightmares, and insomnia have also been reported. > >Cardiovascular: Shortness of breath and bradycardia have occurred in approximately 3 of 100 patients. Cold extremities; arterial insufficiency, usually of the Raynaud type; palpitations; congestive heart failure; peripheral edema; and hypotension have been reported in about 1 of 100 patients. Gangrene in patients with pre-existing severe peripheral circulatory disorders has also been reported very rarely. What do yout thyroid labs show?? It may be the high blood pressure is a thyroid or adrenal side effect. Nick
Guest guest
So what brought you to this particular thyroid group?? I came to the group because I am taking T3 and wanted to know more about it. I am working only with a pharmacist who works through a Gyn in order to get tests and RX for her clients. I get very little info other than just 's Temperature Syndrome website. I have been told that it is a miracle that I am alive since my TSH was dangerously low. My PCP is awesome and knows that I have tons of allergies. Hopefully he will order the test I need So far just being with this group has made me realize I need other tests in order to find out what is really wrong with me. I am so thankful for what I have learned so far. I just want to get better. After starting the T3 program my confidence level shot up and so did my self esteem. I drove from OK to KY on the interstates at Christmas in which is a miracle since I usually drive back roads. I saw such a difference in my self that I knew I wanted to know everything I could inorder to keep my confidence and self esteem. When I realized I didn't have a lack of faith but a medical problem it changed my life and my way of thinking. I take daily 1 25 mg of toperol in the am 1 flexeril 10 mg when needed for an injury from a car wreck 1 5mg Xanax at night 3 tiny scoops of Ambrotose 2 x a day 1 Plus 3 times a day 2 Phytomatrix 2 x aday 1 AO AntiOxident 2 x a day 4 Chlorophyll 200mg 2 x a day to balance my PH 2 1000mg Vitamin D3 at night 1 baby aspirin at night 1 iron pill with dinner from Walgreen's 2 Cinnamon Bark capsules 200 mg to help with high Cholesterol 1 Soy Lecithin at night 1 100 mg Co Q 10 1 400 Folic Acid in am Blessings, Sue in OK art a New Topic MARKETPLACE Going Green: Your Yahoo! Glad you are making progress then. There is a summary of Tissue resistance caused by RT3 and it's treatment on this site. www.thyroid-rt3.com There is a lot about dosing T3 on there as well. The regime that have been found to work best from the people in this group is a slow steady increase based on symptoms and then staying at a stable dose rather than the " cycling " promoted by Dr . Guest guest
Nick, I can truly understand why it is better to go slowly than to increase daily. I at one time got up to 13 T3"s twice a day and started having symptoms as if I was not on any supplement. When I called the Pharmacist she said "Oh you are not suppose to go past 12". My temp did reach 98.6 on 13 but I felt very weird. I recycled and am doing better. I am on 5 T'3 each T-3 is 7.5 mcg I am going to stay close to this group because you have given me so much insight about T3's and the Winston's Temperature syndrome. I will look at the website you mentioned. Blessings, Sue in OK Reply to sender | Reply to group Messages in this topic (11) ..
