My naturopath started me on 1 mcg a day, adding in 1 mcg every other day. I

don't think you can get much slower than that. Once I knew that I was

tolerating it fine, then I started upping it as Nick described on his website:

http://thyroid-rt3.com/dosing.htm

This does mean you have to get T3 from a compounding pharmacy, which I could do

through my naturopath.

I started on 25 mcg and raised 6.25 mcg each week until I reached 100 mcg. It

took me about 9 weeks. I was on 4 grains of NT when I switched. I have 10 days

left before I hit the 12 week mark. I had NO reaction to the T3 at all. When I

forget to take it on schedule (25 mcg 4 times a day) I can usually tell because

my heart starts pounding harder. But I haven't really noticed a huge difference

in how I feel. I think I have very gradually improved, but since I'm not at 12

weeks yet RT3 supposedly hasn't cleared yet.
