Do you mean pregnenolone? This converts to DHEA then testosterone then estrogen. I've never heard of progesterone cream being used to raise T...

If my free testosterone is 81 (range 46-224)

and bioavailable 158 (range 110 575)

I've been told this is may be in the range but it's

pretty low and that I might benefit from testosterone.

But biochemist friend of mine said that a better way to get it would

be to use natural progesterone cream. Also,  I have read that prgesterone moight help improve thyroid function too.

Can someone give me feedback on this? Thanks

i think in the body progesterone made by the ovaries may convert to testosterone but i do not believe that natural progesterone creams convert the same way....

If my free testosterone is 81 (range 46-224)and bioavailable 158 (range 110 575)I've been told this is may be in the range but it'spretty low and that I might benefit from testosterone.But biochemist friend of mine said that a better way to get it wouldbe to use natural progesterone cream. The person that told me this is a natural practitioner with a PhD in

Biochemistry from Columbia and is the healthiest 82 year old I've ever seen.

Now, that doesn't make his advice right- he could be way off. But i've read that

projesterone converts to testosterone and that straight testosterone can lead to

exhacerbating tumor growth.

1. If i were to take T, do you know of a cheap good quality source I can get?

The cream sounds like a good option.

2. And does the natural stuff from Yams or whatever work?

If the conversion is so uncontrolled, what do you do when your tests indicate

you need progesterone? - due to estrogen dominance.

Excuse me if I didn't see your response, but do you know where I can get a good

inexpensive source of testosterone. I'm a male and 48.

Also I have read that testosterone converts at times to DHT which could lead to

hair loss. I'm a little worried about that.

The onyl reliable source for testosterone is with a prescriptin. It is a

controlled substance so cannpt legally be sold by even overseas

pharmacies as thyroid or HC can be.
