Guest guest
Most people even with severe Rt3 get SOME good from NT so you might go MORE hypo before your doc appointment by just stopping. You might feel better it is hard ot say but that you DO have a severe RT3 problem is wihtout a doubt. I htink it is better to just reduce to a minimal NT dose than to just stop it for that long. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Well, I'm only taking 1 1/2 grains of new Armour to begin with, so I don't think I can go much lower on that without it being pointless- LOL! My Erfa arrived yesterday. Would it be better for me to switch to that in the mean time? Or should I just stay with the new Armour until I run out and then either do Erfa or Cynomel until I see the doc? I did order some Cynomel to start on but it'll be a week or two before it gets here. I've been studying STTM pp. 162-163 and http:// thyroid-rt3.com/ for dosing suggestions. Am I correct that I would start with 25 mcg of that split into 2 doses and add 12.5 mcg doses every few days until I'm taking 4 or 5 doses a day. And then increase each dose every few days? STTM seems to indicate that 3 doses/day (am, pm, and bedtime) would be the goal but the other site says 4-5 times per day and to start with 6.25 mcg doses. I get up at 6:30 am and go to bed between 11 pm and midnight. I take a 2-2 1/2 hour nap every day. My adrenals are being treated and temps have stabilized on only 15mg HC (in a mix of cream and Isocort). > Most people even with severe Rt3 get SOME good from NT so you might go > MORE hypo before your doc appointment by just stopping. Guest guest
You can try wiht the 12.5mcg doses and see if your body is too sensitive for that. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Oops. I've been taking 2 grains of new Armour. Totally screwed that up. Would that be why my resting pulse rate lately has been almost 90 during the day when I take meds. By the time I go to bed at night and haven't taken any thyroid meds for 10-12 hours it is back into the 70s. I was a little worried about starting the cynomel if my pulse was this high on the NT but since I've been taking 1/2 grain more than I had intended to it might not be so bad.
