Guest guest
How many of you have Fibromyalgia in addition to IBD? What do you do for it? I saw an Osteopath this week for my back pain (This is also due to Erlichiosis) But I was told I also have Fibromyalgia. When I first got sick it started out as MCS and I was later told I had Fibro and the Chronic Fatigue and many other names along the way until Crohn's came along. I was wondering if it's enough to check a patient's trigger points and to clincally diagnose Fibro? My husband says that I should get an MRI of my back and neck until then he thinks all of this is thorough enough (I had many xrays done there this week) The Osteo doc was talking to me about extensive rehab, Osteo adjustments and Trigger Point Injections with switch off's of lidocaine, B12 and Saline. I am not into this last one as I think when I start feeling better and have more energy I will be able to excersize like do gentle yoga or Feldenkrais. I can't imagine how I would react to injections plus it freaks me out with the level of my sensitivity. Thanks, Jodi SCD 13 months Crohn's/Colitis
