The based upon some other hormone tests my dr. had get the RT3. If it was high

he said I may have Heavy Metal Toxicity. Never did he mention using the T3 only

to clear the RT3 from my body.

Has anyone else ever had this happen, or used Chelation therapy to cleanse their

RT3 problem?

Thanks

Kim

I've heard mix reports of it including a lot of adrenal stress. If

Yahoo search will work then searching the group archives will show

some previous posts.

I think the general advice is to get onto T3 and clear hypo symptoms

first and only then consider chelation if you are going to try it

I would RUN form this doctor. While hevy metal toxicity has been blamed

fo rMANY things in cluding hypo itself, I have NEVER seen proof of this

in 20+ years on hypothyroid groups. It all goes away wiht proper THYROID

treatment and good diet and corrrect supplements.

My specialist tells me over and over, and she has a lot of knowledge about amalgam fillings, that I need to remove my amalgam fillings over time. Hopefully not too far into the future. She believes that these are making me hypo.I have this sick dream that I will be healthy when my amalgam fillings are out and replaced with NON-fluoride composite (plastic) fillings. PS! Remember that most doctors that use these white fillings actually put fluoride in them to let the patient get fluoride daily over time! It's HORRIBLE! Replace one evil thing with another... :( Go for an orthomolecular dentist that uses non-fluoride fillings!

Well don;t get your hopes up. I have a great analogy for this. Pets

dont; get fillings btu over 70% of them have thyroid probelms these

days. They DO get vaccines that have mercury however, btu one other

thing we ALL have in common is fluoride., I think thta is the evil of

the earth. I have not had any TEETH fillings or no for over 4 years, I

am stil hypo. I only had two fillings anyway. I have not had hardly ANY

vaccines either so where did MY hypo come from?

I removed my amalgam fillings more than a year ago. I was desperatelly trying to

feel better. I haven't noticed a thing.

I don't regret I did it, I guess is not good to have all this mercury in your

mouth, but my hypo (and all other issues, for that matter) are still as they

were. No change.
