Okay maybe I am very naive.... but today I learned a great lesson.

I just started on the SCD Diet this week. I was diagnosed with Crohn's

on Sept. 11, 2001, ironic but true. Anyway I have been reading labels

and being very careful about everything and I happened to read my can

of tuna today before I ate it thank god, and found out my tuna has

vegetable broth and soy in it??? What the heck? The vegetable broth

according to the nutritional values of most the can tuna with " just

water in it " also contains carrots, green beans, onions and bet you

didnt know this because i didnt and... POTATOES??? Only Starkist with

the oil in it has no broth, well just the Starkist kind, Bumblebee and

Chicken of the Sea that's a different story. Just thought I would pass

that along to those of you who didnt know.... like me!!!

Another canned tuna that is just " light tuna, water " is StarKist Low

Sodium Chunk Light.

The non-low sodium has the broth, but for some reason, the low sodium

does not.
