Guest guest Posted October 28, 2008 Report Share Posted October 28, 2008 I do not think Dole pineapple is SCD compliant anymore. I spoke to a Dole rep at length this afternoon. According to what I was told, the pineapple in 100% juice is made from pineapple juice concentrate with added citric acid. They citric acid they add is made from either corn or cassaba fiber. I guess this makes it an illegal on the diet now. Sorry Marilyn. They do have frozen fruit (other than the peaches) without anything added. I asked Dole to send me a letter about the frozen fruit. Marilyn, I'll send that letter on to you when I get it. Tomorrow I call Welch's. My bottle says ascorbic acid added. Worried about that one now also.
