Guest guest
Thank you for your nice reply. I now the T3 I'm on is extremely low, but since I have such a severe case of adrenal burnout, my doctor wanted me to take it low and slow to see how I did. Actually, I've had higher cortisol levels a year ago, do to stress. The loop between the pituitary and the adrenals, was stuck in overdrive, that is cortisol would not shut off, so secreting all that cortisol now has left me with virtually nothing. Taking the compounded hydrocortisone helps to retrain that feedback loop so it will not put out so cortisol and adrenaline when called on ( I'm not sure I'm explaining it right, but my doctoro explained it making a lot of sense, anyway it has helped.) But, I have been under the best I know of, protocal for adrenals. I will check out the link you mentioned. Thanks again. Appreciateed. ine PS> what is the normal low T3 starting dose and a medium range dose( for sustained release T3, that other are on? )
