does a superlative job of making pecan meal equal or better than the

pecan meal I can buy commercially. THe almond flour is a little more

coarse than the commercial almond flour, and when I priced blanched

almonds and realize that locally, whole blanched almonds cost the same as

almond flour plus shipping, I figured I did not need yet another Do It

I love my Maverick -- and besides, you can use it for so many things

besides just nut flours!

Marilyn,

So are you saying you do not do almond flour in your Maverick?

I don't use blanched almonds, just the raw almonds. Is that bad? My

daughter doesn't seem to be having a problem with it. I buy them at

Costco for $3.33 per pound. I have a Vita-Mix that gives me what I

would call almond meal. It's grainy. Would love to make her

something lighter. Was hoping the Maverick could grind a finer flour.

Can you share what sort of other things you use your Maverick for?

If you have time, that is. :-)

Thanks,
