Guest guest
Heart poounding is usually NOT from low cortiosl. Itsi usually low ferritin or low thyroido. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Okay, but could the t3 in my cells have gotten low from not taking enough HC? The heart pounding started when I got my t3 up to 62.5. I was taking 17.5 to 20 HC. I then got a cold and didn't stress dose. I was having horrible anxiety and panic attacks as well. Also, my Blood sugar was going high after the heart pounding episodes, which lead me to think it may have been adrenaline surges causing the anxiety and maybe the heart pounding? My ferritin has been almost 90 the past couple times I checked it. Thank you, Kathleen > > Heart poounding is usually NOT from low cortiosl. Guest guest
Then yes, it couls be low T3 from not taking enough HC. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Val, can the heart pounding not also be from adrenaline rush, which was also causing the anxiety attacks? I have been trying to use the glucose meter to help figure out what is going on with my cortisol. I took my BS 2 hours after eating yesterday and it was around 100. Then I had a heart pounding episode and within an hour, without eating ANYTHING, my BS had jumped up by almost 30 points! This stopped happening when I took some extra HC. Any thoughts? THanks, Kathleen > > Then yes, it couls be low T3 from not taking enough HC. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ >
Guest guest
Val, could the heart pounding not also be from adrenaline rushes due to the low cortisol? Would this explain my terrible anxiety attacks as well? I have been trying to use the glucose meter to figure out what is going on. My BS was going almost 30 points higher after a bad heart pounding epidose even though I'd not eaten anything since the last reading. > > Then yes, it couls be low T3 from not taking enough HC. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ >
Guest guest
I am eagerly awainting Val's response to your qeustion. I don't know if I'm allowed to share personal anecdotal reports here, so if I may not I hope I will be told so: My heart pounding and anxiety has greatly decreased since I increased my HC. I'm not saying it's true in your situation. for weeks I struggled with this and did not want to go above 35 hc, but only when I increased significantly did the adrenaline rushes stop as well as the attendant anxiety. Each body is so unique, so it'll take figuring out what it is that makes YOUR body tick. Guest guest
I've been on very high doses of HC before and I don't want to go there again. I wasn't making any HC on my own, it was all coming from pills and while this may work well with thyroid, I didn't like the way it felt with the HC. I had to plan my life around HC as I could feel it wear off and I would get nauseas and ill unless I took more as my body wasn't making any. It wasn't good and I'm glad I looked for the causes of WHY I was needing so much HC. > > > > Then yes, it couls be low T3 from not taking enough HC. > > > > -- > > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > > > http://www.stopthet hyroidmadness. com/ > > http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ NaturalThyroidHo rmonesADRENALS/ > > http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ RT3_T3/ > > http://groups. yahoo.com/ group/HypoPets/ > > >
Guest guest
I get heart pounding when I run out of cortisol, like in the middle of the night or when I wake up (which I know can also be hypoglycemia even though I eat a fat/protein snack at bedtime). I find if I wake up and take 1 or 2 Isocorts, the pounding stops and I can fall back to sleep. So I concluded that over 6 or 8 hours sleeping, I run out of cortisol. But then I also get heart pounding from taking regular HC, along with the higher BP and pulse. Even if it's the same equivalent dose as the Isocort. I've used the cream and it doesn't happen with the cream either, only the regular HC. This is still a mystery to me. I should know what part ferritin is playing in this soon as I'm having bloodwork tomorrow. Hopefully, 5 IV's did something. Cancelled today's appt. because I couldn't fall asleep last night until 4 AM for some reason. I think I was all worked up about the high BP and pulse and worried about tanking my immune system in changing back to Isocort from the regular HC. So I'm doing a combo right now and my BP and pulse are still high. Next 2 doses are going to be Isocort only and I'll see what happens then.
