Guest guest
It could've been something worse! I just read about a-fib, and it looks like the heartbeat is irregular with a-fib.The attack I had with my heart in January 2008 while on 100 mcg T4 and 40 mcg T3,was different. My heart was not really beating. It was shaking. I did not have a real pulse. My heart did not beat irregularly cause it was not beating - It was shaking - steadily, and VERY rapidly. 800 shakes pr. minute, was what I measured it to be.It just shook real fast, and WEAKLY, like it was struggeling for 15-20 minutes beforefinally starting to beat normally again. At that time, I took 1/2 my T4/T3-meds when I got up,and 1/2 of it when I went to bed. So. In this case.. I would have to say that the thing with myheart happened about 1/2 hour to 1 hour after I took my T4/T3, if I remember correctly. If I suffer from, let's say.. WPW-syndrome (the hidden variant) - I can actually get a WPWattack from taking too much thyroid meds, or having my body not tolerate the thyroidmeds, because of low cortisol or low Ferritin, for example. I am just guessing here. But one doctor told me to look into WPW and try to figure out if I have that._I DO_ have proven faulty electrical wiring of my heart with EKG several times over theyears. Now, can _I_ simply be in danger of getting heart-issues, like WPW-attacks, ventricular-fibrillation, from taking T3 at all? (Or being not able to tolerate T3 because of low Ferritinor low cortisol?)What do you say ? You must know something about this. Others?I have a ticklish sensation in my heart right now. I took 20 mcg T3 yesterday. 15 mcg sofar today. I have scheduled to take my 5 mcg of T3 now at 2:30 am, and... I am a bitworried, to put it mildly. This feeling in my heart right now reminds me of that time I gotthe fibrillation, or whatever it was.And over here in Norway, they ran an ecg, an ultrasound, and a stress-test for my heart. After that they concluded: My heart is perfectly healthy. But I am not so sure about that...I am not even sure I need to have a high resting pulse or a higher temp while taking T3-onlyto get an issue with my heart. I think it can happen anytime now, because of factor "X",which nobody knows about..Pretty scary stuff! Why else would it TICKLE inside my chest/heart right now???
