Guest guest
Dear Group, I have been gone since I have not had a computer! It took me a year to fix this new one, so it's not so new anymore but now it works again. Also, (knock wood), I am so grateful to G_d that I have been symptom free on the Minocin, and I'd be happy to share my story w/ anyone or on the website if would like. But now I have a symptom and I don't know if it's aging or if its the Minocin. Went on vacation and came back about a month ago and noticed age spots on face. (About 13 of varying sizes; some could qualify as big freckles). I was in a tropical climate but wore sunblock and a hat when out of the water. I also noticed I got tan which I never do. So I read pill books and found that a rare side effect of Minocin is brown spotting of the skin. I don't know if they're referring to those marks that are bluish that people get all over; mine are limited to my face. Also it says to report unusual skin discolorations to the doctor. I don't know if these are unusual; also I am my doctor's first antibiotic person and he never knows re: stuff like this. I guess I need to see the dermo. I was up all night worried sick that I'd have to stop the minocin. And I am so happy to have a normal life. I even have a new job and go to the gym. Without it, I got ill and was on the road to disability. Any shared experiences or knowledge appreciated. I am happy to be back on line. But I notice some "oldies" are missing. I don't know if they're still in chat group, which I haven't resubscribed to due to job. Lots of warm wishes and thoughts about all of you.
