Hello, It is a releaved that I am not the only one have memory problems. I plan to stop takeing Neurontin starting tommrow and see if that helps. It has gotten to the point where if i go somwhere I have to keep the directions or address on the dash so I don't forget. But with my luck it is more than just the meds doing this. The other problem is breaking the back window in the pick up with my head, which also causes memory issues.Al K.> This is the problem with Neurontin I was having too. Losing my mind & forgetting everything & feeling disoriented & off balance physically as well. Like I was losing my physical control & balance & getting dementia or something. If you

I was reading just a little bit ago from a magazine that chronic pain

may cause the gray matter of your brain to shrink so much per

year. I forgot how much it said. I still have the magazine.........Joyce M

Hi ,

I definitely believe pain alone can contribute to memory loss and

having trouble concentrating. Sometimes when my pain is really

bad I have trouble stringing together sentences or engaging in

conversation. And at night, forget reading, the only thing I can do

sometimes is watch the E- Channel!

It explains a lot, though.

Hello all,

I was searching on side effects of Neurontin for my mother,

especially drowsiness and difficulty concentrating, and saw that on

one site, people call this drug " Morontin " .
