Guest guest
Hi Suzie, I want to get pregnant too, but have been sick ever since I have been married, about 2 years. Besides being in chronic pain, with the fatigue I experience, I cannot imagine taking care of a child at this point. This has definitely been one of the hardest parts of my illness to handle. Good luck to you and I am not giving up hope yet either! > > Thanks to those of you who responded to my message. Guest guest
Kay, Could you get even more detailed about your diet? I am headed in that direction as I have become lactose intolerant and the fats cause an obvious problem but I am stuck on variety - there is not a lot. What about fruit and canned salmon? How do you make a sandwich? And does brown rice also have carbs? How do you handle restaurants - any tips? I did all right at one mexican place. They gave me plain grilled chicken, guacamole and tortillas. You can see the nutritionist did not help much. Annette > Suzie, > Everyone figures out what works for them.... I stay away from sugar, cow milk, wheat, fried food, processed food, caffeine, soft drinks, coffee, fruit juice. I find that helps me. Stay away from junk food....no french fries or greasy stuff and the fewer carbs the better. Does not sound exciting but the improvement in joint pain was worth it for me. I eat grilled chicken and fish, veggies, nuts, seeds. Once in a while I have some red meat. > Good luck, > Kay > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Marcia Stoyle > Rheumatoid Arthritis > Sent: Friday, February 25, 2005 7:40 AM > Subject: Re: Thanks - new member > > > welcome, Suzie. you might want to try a food diary = some of us have found a connection between a certain food and increased pain...gentle hugs, Marcia >
